On September 18-19, 2021, the Short North Civic Association (SNCA) will host the 46th Annual Short North Homes & Garden Tour and Rooftop Preview Party. With the rising interest in creative outdoor living spaces, and the necessity to partake in socially distant events, the garden tour will focus on lush, edible gardens, landscaped lawns, beautiful terraces, furnished social yards, satellite kitchens, outdoor technology, al fresco dining areas, a sculpture garden, and more. The tour will begin at the historic Caretakers Cottage in scenic

Goodale Park, then proceed to follow a self-guided tour throughout the neighborhoods, visiting luxurious gardens on Buttles, Park, and Hubbard Streets. As a bonus, the Columbus Museum of Art will

feature the sculpture garden with the Pizzuti Collection as well as two new exhibits scheduled to open at the end of August.

The best party of the season, the Preview Tour & Rooftop Party, will be held on Saturday, September 18, 2021. Beginning at 4pm, guests gain exclusive access to the garden tour locations a day before the public. At 7pm, party guests will meet at a yet-unrevealed rooftop location in Hubbard Park Place for a stunning night under the stars, featuring an open bar and catered hors d’œuvres.

The tour & party are the Short North Civic Association’s annual fundraising event with proceeds supporting Screen on the Green, Goodale Park Music Series, Neil Avenue planters, streetscaped medians, and local grants for community projects.

SNCA plans to return to showcasing interiors the following year. For more information or tickets to the 2021 Short North Tour of Homes & Gardens and Rooftop Preview Party, visit shortnorthcivic.org.
