KIPP COLUMBUS

As of March 26, KIPP Columbus reported that

  • 25,000+ meals have been distributed to their community's children and $20,000 raised to support these efforts

  • $50,000 in grocery gift cards have been secured for their families that will be distributed in care packages next month

  • They requested help from the community and they answered in a big way -- donations large and small came in, allowing KIPP quickly to fill in the food and technology gap created by kids being out of school

  • A KIPP Columbus COVID-19 website launched

  • Over 700 computers were distributed to students with another 1,300 set to be deployed in the next week

  • Their teachers and leaders have launched remote (online) learning for nearly 2,000 students
