Jefferson Series

The New Albany Community Foundation launched the 7th season of its Jefferson Series with a sold-out panel discussion featuring Dr. Madeleine K. Albright Secretary of State (1997- 2001), General Colin L. Powell USA (Ret.). The discussion was moderated by Columnist and Host of CNN’s Fareed Zakaria GPS, Dr. Fareed Zakaria. It included engaging and dynamic reflections from Albright and Powell on their time as advisors to multiple administrations on matters of national security and diplomacy, current events, and what inspires hope for the country’s future. This discussion was later broadcasted internationally on Fareed Zakaria’s CNN program, Fareed Zakaria GPS.
